Finisher

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities 

Finishing & Assembly:

• Perform finishing operations using various finishing equipment such as grommet press, sewing machine, cutters, and various hand tools safely, efficiently and accurately.
•  Packaging of signage products according to individual product and work order specifications.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance and report equipment issues or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
• Read and interpret work orders and establish priority needs to meet deadlines and due dates and stage finished products for shipping, pickup and/or installation.
• Assist with monitoring and replenishing finishing materials and supplies and notify Supervisor and/or Production Manager in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Quality Control:

• Inspect finished products to verify accuracy, quality and adherence to company and client standards to ensure final products meet all work order requirements before release.
• Identify defects or inconsistencies and communicate issues promptly for correction

• Work closely with production and shipping teams to support efficient workflow.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or manufacturing training is a plus.
• Prior experience in a finishing, manufacturing, or signage production environment preferred.
• Familiarity with finishing tools, equipment, and materials used in signage production.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive, reliable work ethic.

Work Environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or manufacturing training is a plus.
• Prior experience in a finishing, manufacturing, or signage production environment preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50–75 pounds with or without assistance.
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel and work with tools and equipment throughout the shift.
