We are seeking an experienced Engineering Solution Architect to be part of highly productive technical team. This role is ideal for someone who has strong technical knowledge with a passion for building high-performing, driving engineering excellence, and delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with Product, Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to define strategy and ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Development

• Design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Architect event-driven systems using Kafka or similar streaming platforms
• Define and enforce backend coding standards, design patterns, and architectural best practices
• Guide teams in building distributed, fault-tolerant systems

Technical Leadership

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality, security, and performance benchmarks
• Mentor and lead multiple backend engineering teams across projects
• Drive adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and engineering practices
• Promote use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance code quality and development speed

Collaboration & Delivery

• Collaborate with product managers, frontend teams, QA, and stakeholders to define requirements and solution approaches
• Plan, prioritize, and track deliverables to ensure timely execution
• Identify risks, resolve technical challenges, and remove delivery blockers
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and frameworks
• Champion engineering excellence through continuous improvement initiatives
• Drive innovation using AI-assisted development and prompt engineering techniques

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development experience, including:
  • At least 1+ years working as solution architect
• Strong expertise in:
  • Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture
  • Event-driven systems (Kafka or similar)
• Proven experience in:
  • RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and database design (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Backend performance optimization, scalability, and security
  • CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with:
  • AWS services (mandatory)
  • Deployment using ECS (required)
