Overview
As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you'll transport patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities, sometimes working alone and sometimes in two-person crews. Key responsibilities include assisting patients with mobility, building rapport with patients and their families, ensuring ambulance cleanliness and safety, and handling end-of-life transports with empathy. You'll work varying shifts Monday through Sunday between 5:30am and midnight. The role requires a full UK manual driving license with maximum 6 points, good physical fitness, and the ability to work with patients in emotional circumstances.
