Overview
As a Patient Bed Technician, you'll perform preventive maintenance and on-demand repairs on patient beds, lifts, and related support equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on beds such as Hill-Rom and Stryker models, inspecting and servicing ceiling-mounted and portable patient lifts, diagnosing issues with bed controls and integrated electronics, and coordinating maintenance activities with clinical staff. Position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience performing maintenance or repair on patient beds, lifts, or similar mechanical/electromechanical equipment, and working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Must possess a valid Real ID and successfully pass a drug test and thorough background check.
