Description

4-Horn Management LLC is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Staff Accountant. This high-level accounting position bears the responsibility of overseeing the financial health of our organization, maintaining our financial records, overseeing audits, and creating financial reports. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of regulatory standards, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. Responsibilities: Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes Maintain accounting and financial records by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, as well as resolving discrepancies Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Manage payroll functions, ensuring that all salaries, benefits, and taxes are correctly processed Work closely with the auditing team to conduct internal audits and support the annual audit process Review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting or financial management role Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures, along with a familiarity with financial accounting statements In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Accuracy and attention to detail are critical for this role Advanced numerical skills and a flair for spotting numerical errors Excellent analytical skills with an ability to thoroughly scrutinize financial data and generate insightful financial reports Benefits: Competitive salary package and retirement savings plan Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage Continued learning and training opportunities for career growth Generous paid time off policy Supportive, team-oriented work environment This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who is looking to develop their career in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
