Senior API DeveloperLocation: Bad homburg / NuremburgExperience: 5+ years Job Type: Full-timeRole Overview:We are seeking a Senior API Developer with strong expertise in building robust APIs and experience in LLM chatbots/AI integration, particularly leveraging Sage or similar platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern Java development, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs, and be comfortable working with Git/GitLab and Maven.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services.Integrate AI/LLM chatbot solutions into applications (Sage experience preferred).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment using Git/GitLab and Maven.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.Required Skills & Experience:Programming Languages: Java 21+, JavaScriptFrameworks & Technologies: J2EE, Spring BootAPI Development: REST API design and implementationVersion Control & CI/CD: Git, GitLab, MavenAI/LLM Integration: Experience with chatbots or AI-driven applications (Sage preferred)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Nice to Have:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with AI/LLM model fine-tuning or prompt engineering
