Description
Loancrate builds AI-native tooling to automate mortgage origination (>$85B in loans powered; 80 people, $44M raised, fully remote).
Comp: $150K-$350K + competitive equity. Location: Remote, US (US hours). Visa: Visa transfers only (OPT, H1B transfers).
Responsibilities
Architect, build and launch multi-step AI agents that digitize mortgage ops workflows
Integrate 3rd-party lending services APIs (disclosures, automated underwriting, fraud)
Build next-gen job processing infrastructure on AWS for observability/reliability
Ship to production on day one; mentor less senior engineers
Tech stack: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, GraphQL/Apollo, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS (ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, Kafka, ElasticSearch), Terraform
