What You’ll Do
As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting building systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure to support daily operations. In this role, you will:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
- Complete minor construction, renovation, and repair projects throughout the facility.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical components including lighting, outlets, switches, and motors.
- Monitor and coordinate waste management services and outside vendors.
- Serve as the point of contact for facility systems including fire protection, security, and access control.
- Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sprinkler, wash bay, and gate systems.
- Support vendor site visits and ensure work is completed safely and effectively.
- Operate equipment including forklifts, manlifts, sweepers, and grounds maintenance equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Support facility operations and perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
We're looking for dependable team members who take pride in maintaining facilities, solving problems, and supporting a safe work environment.
Required
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Basic electrical knowledge and ability to diagnose facility-related issues.
- Ability to read measurements, weights, and perform basic math calculations.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance tracking systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and fit-for-duty assessment.
Preferred:
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance.
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, or building systems.
- Experience operating forklifts, manlifts, or similar equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Team player with a positive, go-getter attitude.
Additional Expectations:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
Work Environment
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 40 hours/week with overtime opportunities
- Shop-based role with some outdoor and job site work
