Web & UI Designer (Figma + Framer Specialist)

The Context What a Story isn't a generalist agency. We are the strategic video partner for B2B SaaS. We’ve served 650+ clients who have raised over $1B.

We don't build "brochure websites." We build high-performance landing pages and digital experiences that speak the language of Tech CXOs. We value speed, competence, and "Return on Image."

The Role You are not here to color inside the lines. You are here to own the visual layer of our digital presence and client deliverables. You will translate complex SaaS concepts into clean, high-converting layouts.

The Workflow:

1. Visualize: Design high-fidelity UI/UX in Figma.
2. Build: Ship live, responsive sites using Framer or Webflow.
3. Iterate: Optimize based on data, not feelings.

What You Will Do

• Design and ship landing pages for What a Story and select SaaS clients.
• Maintain and evolve our internal Design System (typography, color variables, components).
• Collaborate with the video team to ensure visual consistency across video assets and web assets.
• Create vector assets and iconography (Illustrator).

The Stack (Non-Negotiable)

• Figma: You dream in Auto-Layout. Your layer management is obsessive.
• Framer or Webflow: You don't just design; you publish. You understand stacks, breakpoints, and CMS collections.

The "Nice to Haves"

• Adobe Illustrator: For custom vector work.
• Spline / Rive: If you can add 3D or interactive motion, you go to the front of the line.
• Basic CSS/HTML knowledge: You don't need to write code, but you need to understand how the web renders.

Who You Are

• SaaS Native: You know what "clean tech aesthetic" looks like (Linear, Stripe, Raycast vibes).
• Fast: You understand that perfectionism is procrastination. You ship v1, then polish.
• Autonomous: You don't need hand-holding. You Google the solution before asking for help.

Why Join?

• No Fluff: We don't do corporate politics. We prioritize output.
• High Impact: Your work will be seen by CEOs and Founders in the US/UK.
• Growth: You will be working directly with the leadership team.

How to Apply Do not send a generic cover letter. We won't read it.

1. Send your portfolio link.
2. Crucial: Include at least one live Framer or Webflow link you have built.
3. Tell us your favorite SaaS website design right now and why in 2 sentences.
