Commercial Roofing Project Manager

Location: Raleigh, NC (On-Site)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to lead roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, staffing, material procurement, safety, quality control, and client communication. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can effectively manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional standards for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial roofing projects from contract award through final completion.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and material deliveries to ensure efficient execution.
• Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and scope requirements to support successful project outcomes.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, change orders, and cost controls.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, safety compliance, workmanship, and overall quality.
• Collaborate with field supervisors and crews to resolve project challenges and maintain production goals.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company and customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and closeout packages.
• Lead project meetings and provide consistent communication regarding project status, milestones, and potential risks.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout all phases of construction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial roofing, construction, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, manpower, and multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience coordinating with clients, general contractors, vendors, and field operations teams.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety programs, and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work on-site and effectively manage field operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
