Supervisor de Ventas

 

 

PURPOSE 

Responsible for all sales activities within designated area including maintaining existing business, building relationships, seeking growth opportunities and driving new sales.  Manages daily activities of Account Managers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

Accountable for meeting sales targets by developing and implementing an annual strategic plan for the designated area. Responsible for some direct accounts. Responsible for forecasting activities for the designated area. Approves or seeks approval for pricing agreements, while maintaining area market level pricing. Leads shop floor meetings for designated area and elevates concerns to higher level as appropriate. Manages various internal resources within their designated area such as Mobile Exhibit, Sales or Technical Representatives. Assists Account Managers in presentations, sales calls and closing opportunities. Maintains daily contact with Account Managers via various communication channels or onsite visits. Performs essential functions of Account Managers. Works closely with customers to meet their forecast requirements. Develops training program tailored to each direct report. Performs market research in order to find new opportunities. Maintains detailed records and prepares communications and reports as needed.  Interacts professionally on a regular basis with staff, vendors, customers and the general public. Participates in annual budgeting process through forecasting and develops, implements and maintains department budget, approves expenditures and operates within budget constraints. Supervises the activities of Account Managers including daily CRM activities focusing on priority accounts and ensures sales activity platform mix is set and maintained. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure and legal work environment. Directs the achievement of staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing growth opportunities, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Manages sales channel consisting of distributors. Maintains detailed records and prepares communications as needed. Interacts professionally on a regular basis with staff and the general public. Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Work Experience

Minimum of 5 years of related sales experience.

Managerial Experience

Previous supervisory experience.

Certificates & Licenses

Valid Drivers license

Language

English – Upper Intermediate/Advanced Level (writing, reading and speaking)
