YOUR MISSION

• Act as Finance Business Partner and central point of contact for assigned business areas, proactively supporting stakeholders on financial, accounting and process-related topics
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate accounting discrepancies
• Analyze financial transactions and ensure accurate recording in the ERP system
• Prepare accruals, provisions, and prepaid expense calculations
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
• Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset retirements
• Review and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
• Prepare financial reports, balance sheet analyses, and management reporting packages
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
• Support of legal transformation projects
• Support system and process testing, UAT and data validation, including preparation and follow-up of test cases and identified issues.
• Prepare and maintain relevant process, test and user documentation and support knowledge transfer.

YOUR TALENT

• Completed training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), alternatively a bachelor's degree in finance
• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance and accounting
• Experience with SAP R/3, SAP S4/Hana is an advantage
• Very good MS Office knowledge
• Independent work and structured way of working
• High commitment and flexibility, service-oriented, reliable, team player
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent and hands-on way of working
• Strong business-partnering mindset with good cross-functional communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Cross-departmental thinking and communication is required
• Fluency in English.
