Piedmont’s Enterprise PMO is seeking an accomplished business professional to help leaders define, structure, and execute complex initiatives across the health system. The role combines internal consulting and business partnership with responsibility for leading complex initiatives from problem definition through implementation and sustainable transition.
This is not a conventional project-management position. The role combines internal consulting, executive decision support, business analysis, stakeholder leadership, and disciplined project execution, not Information Systems. The consultant works across executives, operational leaders, clinicians, subject-matter experts, vendors, and project teams to turn ambiguous business needs into clear strategies, decisions, implementation plans, and sustainable results.
**Healthcare experience strongly preferred**
Responsibilities
Plans, monitors and directs multidisciplinary strategically important projects across Piedmont Healthcare (PHC). Projects are completed with freedom and initiative, and with accountability to achieve corporate targets. Provides high quality project management and analysis for an array of clinical and operational issues. Partners with key organizational and operational leaders to identify and achieve priorities, goals and objectives for each initiative. Oversees plan development, industry research, expert interviews, benchmarking, operational feasibility analysis, financial proforma development, written and oral presentation development and implementation assistance.Qualifications
Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a closely related field Required
- Master’s degree Preferred
- 5 years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree Required or
- 3 years of progressively responsible and relevant experience with a Masters degree Required
- Previous experience leading a cross-functional, enterprise-wide complex project in a healthcare setting Preferred
