As a part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings—which is backed by Berkshire Hathaway—you’ll be doing things that matter, leading at every level, and winning a better way. We’re committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone’s empowered to be their best.
Though you may not know us by name, you’ve most likely enjoyed meals and refreshments supported by our industry-leading brand portfolio. For decades, we’ve designed and manufactured foodservice equipment for some of the world’s biggest, most recognized consumer brands.
We are driven to innovate with a clear purpose in mind: revolutionizing the future of foodservice. Guided by our commitment to Doing Things That Matter, Leading at Every Level, and Winning a Better Way, we focus on delivering meaningful impact for our customers, our communities, and each other.
The Supply Chain Transformation Lead will improve how the organization plans, purchases, manages inventory, and delivers products. Reporting to Supply Chain leadership, this role will turn manual, fragmented activities into standardized processes supported by reliable data, ERP workflows, automation, and clear accountability.
Procurement transformation is a major part of the role, but its scope extends across demand and supply planning, supplier collaboration, inventory management, and the handoffs between Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and Finance. The successful candidate will work with process owners to design practical changes, implement them, and ensure teams adopt them. The goal is to help teams manage exceptions and risks instead of spending time on routine transactions and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Map end-to-end supply chain processes, identify gaps and manual work, and prioritize improvements based on business impact.
- Lead process and digital transformation initiatives across procurement, planning, supplier collaboration, inventory, and order fulfillment.
- Partner with Purchasing to expand supplier portal use, electronic acknowledgments, automated purchase order confirmations, and exception-based management.
- Work with Planning and Operations to improve demand inputs, supply planning, inventory visibility, and responses to shortages and changing customer requirements.
- Define standard workflows, decision rules, data requirements, and ownership across functions and locations.
- Partner with IT and Enterprise Applications to design, test, implement, and improve ERP functionality, system integrations, dashboards, and automation.
- Improve the quality and use of supply chain master data, including supplier, item, lead-time, and planning parameters.
- Develop alerts and exception processes that focus teams on late confirmations, supply risks, shortages, excess inventory, and other issues requiring action.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards for process adoption and performance, including supplier responsiveness, planning accuracy, inventory, purchase order cycle time, and manual workload.
- Lead pilots, document results, incorporate user feedback, and support broader rollout of successful solutions.
- Train and coach teams on new processes and tools; work with leaders to sustain adoption.
- Collaborate with Commodity Management on sourcing-related process needs and supplier issues, while aligning changes with broader supply chain priorities.
