Franconia Auto Care is seeking an experienced, skilled, and dependable Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our busy, well-established automotive repair shop in Alexandria, Virginia.

We are looking for a motivated, experienced mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship, can diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently, and is interested in a stable, long-term position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Perform engine diagnostics, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, and cooling system repairs.
- Diagnose and repair air conditioning and heating systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, tune-ups, and general automotive services.
- Use diagnostic scan tools and automotive repair equipment effectively.
- Accurately identify vehicle problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills required.
- Experience working on both domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Must be capable of performing repairs independently.
- Knowledge of modern automotive electrical and computer systems.
- Must have own professional automotive tools.
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be dependable, punctual, honest, and professional.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy repair shop.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $1,550–$1,700 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.
