Your mission:

An internship opportunity titled : SAP developer Intern has just opened at Airbus India Pvt Ltd. located in Bangalore. You will join the Digital CoE for ERP India department in charge of SAP platforms and solutions.

Ideally, this is a 6 month internship and it should start in January/February 2027 (date subject to flexibility).

Your main missions will consist of :

• Transition standard computer science principles (like OOP, SQL, and web standards) into SAP-specific environments—such as ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Learn how modern enterprises share data across applications by building and testing APIs, OData services, and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with functional analysts and senior architects to understand why a business feature is needed, turning user requirements into clear technical documentation and working code.
• Conduct unit tests, fix bugs, and optimize database queries to ensure enterprise tools run securely and efficiently without disrupting daily operations.

Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills

This internship will allow you to develop the following skills:

• Understanding how enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (like SAP S/4HANA) structure financial, supply chain, and operational data.
• Writing and debugging ABAP programs, using Object-Oriented ABAP, working with Core Data Services (CDS) views, and understanding database access within SAP.
• Building responsive, user-friendly business interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and modern SAPUI5/Fiori design principles.
• Utilizing tools like Git, abapGit, and transport management systems to safely deploy code across Development, Testing, and Production environments.
• Navigating complex legacy codebases, diagnosing obscure bugs, and applying logic to real-world corporate challenges.

Qualifications:

You are pursuing technical under graduate or post graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

You possess the following competences:

- Technical skills :

- Solid foundation in core object-oriented programming (OOP) languages (such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript).

- Understanding of relational database concepts, SQL queries, and data structures.

- Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach to debugging and solving complex technical logic.

- Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new technologies.

- Language skills :

- English : advanced
