Position Overview:

Lead a dynamic and highly specialized outpatient rehabilitation team serving a diverse patient population across neurological rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, pediatric rehabilitation, lymphedema treatment, pelvic floor therapy, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R/Physiatry), and the Disabled Community Health Clinic.

The Outpatient Rehabilitation Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily clinical operations and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment to ensure exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and optimal clinic efficiency. This role combines direct patient care with leadership responsibilities, including clinician scheduling, staff coaching and mentorship, clinical quality oversight, documentation and billing support, case management collaboration, and process improvement initiatives.

The Supervisor serves as a key clinical leader, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to advance patient outcomes, support professional development, drive program growth, and contribute to strategic business development efforts across multiple specialty rehabilitation services.

Qualifications:
Previous outpatient rehabilitation supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop clinical teams within a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Experience supporting specialized rehabilitation programs such as neuro rehabilitation, pediatrics, lymphedema, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic health, and physiatry-based services is highly desirable.

EDUCATION:


Other: Graduate of an accredited school of occupational/physical/speech therapy


CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

PT-Physical Therapist

OR OT-Occupational Therapist

OR SP-Licensed Speech Pathologist


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

5 years of recent relevant experience.



SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Expertise in the field of physical rehabilitation.

Knowledge of outpatient clinical operations such as, but not limited to clinical scheduling, clinical interventions, documentation, billing, customer service in a highly efficient setting while maintaining high levels of quality and customer service.

Advanced knowledge of evidence-based outpatient clinical interventions and practice.

Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.

Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrates organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service/achieving business results.

Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve technical and operational issues problems as guided by policies, and procedures, or guidance from leadership.

Pay Range is $163,425.60 to $245,148.80 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
