DIRECTOR – CAPITAL MARKETS & FINANCING
Location: Monaco
COMPANY
MVIP Consulting is supporting a private international investment organisation in Monaco in the appointment of a Director – Capital Markets & Financing.
Working closely with senior investment leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in the sourcing, structuring, execution and monitoring of sophisticated financing and capital markets transactions.
This position requires a highly analytical professional with strong execution capabilities, extensive market knowledge and the ability to interact effectively with international financial institutions, advisors and counterparties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Originate, evaluate and execute structured finance and capital markets transactions
• Analyse financing opportunities across public and private markets, including secured lending, NAV facilities, leverage solutions and bespoke financing structures
• Assess debt capital market opportunities, structured products, derivatives and hedging solutions
• Coordinate and negotiate with investment banks, legal advisors, rating agencies and other external service providers
• Review transaction documentation, term sheets and financing agreements
• Prepare investment memoranda, financial analyses and strategic recommendations for senior decision-makers
• Monitor existing positions and financing arrangements, including covenant compliance and risk exposure
• Maintain active relationships with leading international financial institutions and market participants
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience gained within a Single or Multi Family Office and/or a Tier 1 international investment bank
• Strong expertise in capital markets, structured finance and complex financing transactions
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Proven ability to independently manage transactions from origination through execution
• Solid understanding of legal documentation and financing structures
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English required
• French and/or Italian would be an advantage
EDUCATION
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline
• CFA, CAIA or similar professional qualifications would be considered an advantage
