F&B Coordinator
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and support the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Assist the F&B Manager in administrative duties, reporting, and departmental coordination.
- Prepare, update, and maintain staff schedules, attendance records, leave tracking, and time sheets.
- Coordinate communication between F&B outlets, Kitchen, Stores, Purchasing, and other hotel departments.
- Monitor and follow up on guest feedback, service recovery actions, and operational requests.
- Maintain and update departmental records, standard operating procedures, and filing systems.
- Assist in organizing staff training sessions, meetings, briefings, and team development activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports, performance statistics, and departmental documentation.
- Support inventory control processes, stock requisitions, and coordination of monthly stock takes.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, HACCP requirements, health & safety regulations, and operational standards.
- Assist in coordinating special events, promotions, banquets, and other F&B activities.
- Monitor office supplies, operational materials, and ensure timely replenishment when required.
Qualification & Skills
- Qualifications: HSC or equivalent qualification. A Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years' experience in the Food & Beverage department within a hotel or hospitality environment. Previous experience in an administrative, coordinator, or supervisory role will be an advantage.
- Personal Qualities: Strong organizational and planning skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, customer-oriented mindset, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Additional Skills Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), report preparation and data management skills, basic numerical and analytical abilities, understanding of HACCP standards, knowledge of hotel and Food & Beverage operations, and ability to maintain confidentiality of departmental information.
