JOB DESCRIPTION           

POSITION SUMMARY: PBXP Pbx Product Protection Opr 0001 -  Goodlettsville Case Ready Distribution Center

Schedule/Hours: Sunday-Wednesday 6pm-6am

Pay: $21.60/HR plus $1.00 shift differential

The MH Yard Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the facility yard while ensuring the integrity of temperature-controlled trailers in compliance with cold chain standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to the following:

• Clean and remove trash daily from fence lines, dock doors, building perimeter, stairways, and trash receptacles.
• Clean and maintain the red water containment bay.
• Ensure fuel spill kits are fully stocked and report any leaks or spills immediately.
• Clean truck wash bay drains and maintain areas surrounding the cardboard trailer.
• Remove pallets, wood, and damaged materials from the yard in a timely manner.
• Maintain an orderly and secure yard environment and ensure all gates remain locked at all times.
• Report damage to trailers, trailer jacks, fencing, or other equipment to the supervisor promptly.
• Conduct trailer audits every 3 hours, or every 2 hours when temperatures reach 90°F or higher.
• Accurately record trailer unit temperatures and reefer fuel levels in Dynamic Yard.
• Ensure trailers with multiple temperature zones are properly set and functioning correctly.
• Monitor and report any temperature deviations outside acceptable operating ranges.
• Confirm reefer fuel levels do not fall below one-quarter tank and refuel as needed.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for operating yard vehicles.
• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, logistics, or transportation environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills required.

FOR ALL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. 

• Must be willing and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
