What you will have an opportunity to do:

Host

The Host is an important part of the restaurant team and helps create a welcoming experience for every guest. As the first and last point of contact, the Host sets the tone for the visit and supports the flow of service throughout the restaurant.

This role is a good opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in restaurants. The right person is friendly, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave

• Manage the guest waiting list and provide wait-time estimates

• Monitor the dining room for clean and available tables

• Seat guests and help maintain an organized flow of service

• Assist guests while they are waiting

• Answer the telephone and book reservations

• Update and confirm reservations as needed

• Arrange tables for large parties

• Communicate guest needs and seating updates to the service team

• Assist with other restaurant duties as needed
