Auburn Village has immediate openings for only 1 Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) at our facility in Auburn, Indiana.

Full Time DAYs (5a-5p). Schedule is Monday and Friday one week, then Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesdays the next week and so on. VENT & TRACH EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Assist nurses by providing ADL services: bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, etc.
• Document vital signs, weight, meal intake, bowel and bladder, etc.
• Assist with Restorative Nursing duties
• Answer call lights promptly

Requirements

Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensed in the State of Indiana
• Vent experience much preferred
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Must speak, read and write English
• Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH and HFS regulations
• Long-Term Care facility experience preferred
• Must have a good attendance record and longevity at previous jobs
• Basic computer skills
• Personable and professional
• Must maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
