The successful candidate:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with a rotating on-call schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for:
Patient assessment relative to the performance of Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures.
Promotion of radiation safety.
Demonstration of safe and effective patient care.
Preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and the performance of scanning procedures for both inpatients and outpatients, working under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Radiologist.
Preparation and administration of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and microspheres under the direction of a Board-Certified Radiologist.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine.
A.R.R.T. registry in Nuclear Medicine or N.M.T.C.B. registry.
Licensed in the State of Illinois.
BCLS CPR Certification.
