Job Title:                                 Policy Procurement Quality Control Specialist I

FLSA Status:                           Non-Exempt

Department:                            476- Quality

           

Summary:

This position encompasses the understanding of multiple processes involving the QC Department. The specialists will work with multiple vendors and Proctor Loan Protector.

Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Advanced level insurance processing position responsible for updating insurance information according to defined business rules
  • Understanding all insurance document types and the lender placed process
  • Respond to error disputes in a timely manner and escalate to team lead or supervisor when needed
  • Follow procedures to ensure information is updated accurately and production metrics are reached
  • Maintain individual records accurately
  • Compile and document discrepancies to be used for training and trend analysis
  • Attendance/Quality/Production must meet or exceed PLP standards
  • Identify error trends within processes and report to leadership
  • Back-up existing staff as needed
  • Adhere to a set schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Strong knowledge of  Quality Control processes
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Ability to use discretion, exercise good judgment and resourcefulness.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage personal workflow in conjunction with management
  • Customer service oriented
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Attendance/Quality/Production must meet or exceed PFI standards

Preferred:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline
  • Previous property insurance and or mortgage servicing experience

Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:

  • Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day
  • Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day
  • Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
  • Sedentary position. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
  • Workers are not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Lifting and/or carrying (<10 lbs.)
  • Manipulate small and/or large bulky objects
  • Standing, reaching, kneeling, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling may be required.

Pay Ranges:

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including skills, experience, work location and more.  We offer competitive pay while still allowing for compensation growth within the position and company.
