SUMMARY OF POSITION:  

The Montefiore Licensed Practice Nurse contributes standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing's Social Policy Statement.

Responsibilities include maintaining nursing practice standards and clinical expertise, providing care to patients, and appraisals.

Superb communication and customer service skills are required at all times to interact effectively with all patients. 

**May rotate to multiple clinical practices based on operational needs.** 

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:  

High School Diploma or GED.  

Must hold valid New York State LPN license and registration.  

Basic Life Support.

Infection Control Certificate.
