To strengthen our Product Compliance team in Europe (YEF), we are looking for a Product Compliance Specialist who thrives at the intersection of technology, regulations, and business impact.

🚀 Your impact

As Product Compliance Specialist, you play a key role in ensuring our products can be safely and legally placed on the market. You act as a trusted advisor to the business, helping teams navigate regulatory challenges while enabling innovation.

You will:

  • Safeguard compliance of Yokogawa’s product portfolio with EU/EEA regulations
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are embedded across the entire product lifecycle
  • Support the organization in maintaining its reputation for quality, safety, and integrity review this

🧩 Your responsibilities

Be the compliance expert

  • Act as a go-to Expert on product compliance topics (CE marking, EMC, LVD, ATEX, ATEX, RoHS, REACH, WEEE etc.)
  • Advise stakeholders (engineering, product management, sales) on regulatory requirements and compliance strategies.
  • Represent Yokogawa in discussions with authorities, customers, and partners

Drive compliant product lifecycle

  • Ensure compliance is integrated into product design and development
  • Support resolution of compliance issues (e.g. audits, customer cases)
  • Contribute to regulatory readiness and market access

Strengthen compliance frameworks

  • Maintain and improve internal compliance policies and procedures
  • Translate complex legislation into practical business guidance
  • Support compliance programs

Ensure control and transparency

  • Conduct audits and monitor product compliance performance
  • Maintain technical documentation and regulatory records
  • Support reporting to authorities and internal stakeholders

Enable awareness and continuous improvement

  • Deliver training and increase awareness on product compliance topics
  • Stay ahead of regulatory developments and industry trends

👤 Your profile

You are a proactive professional who combines analytical strength with business understanding and enjoys working in an international environment.

What you bring

  • Bachelor or Master degree (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering combined with solid knowledge of EU product safety )
  • Experience in product compliance
  • Strong knowledge of regulations (e.g. CE marking, EMC, ATEX, LVD, RoHS, REACH)
  • Experience with industrial measurement or automation products is a strong advantage
  • Ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical actions
  • Availability for working from the Yokogawa Amersfoort office 40% of the time (2 days per week)
