What You’ll Drive
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Thai language, Thai history, culture and religion in accordance with curriculum standards.
- Foster students’ critical thinking, language proficiency, and appreciation for Thai heritage through diverse instructional methods.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of students.
- Develop and refine the Thai Studies curriculum to ensure relevance and academic rigor.
- Design formative and summative assessments to measure student learning and progress.
- Prepare and submit assessment reports and student progress evaluations in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the Head of Thai Studies and the academic team to align the Thai Studies program with the school’s overall curriculum.
- Participate in department meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Provide input on school events and activities related to Thai language and culture.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education (Thai major), Arts (Thai Language), Social Studies, History, Sociology, Thai Studies, or a related field.
- Teaching license from Kurusapa (temporary or permanent) preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Strong understanding of curriculum design, lesson planning, and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for education and fostering cultural appreciation in students.
- Familiarity with international school settings or bilingual education.
- Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into lessons.
