Description
Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Parker’s, Somewhere, Public, Soil, Shalwa and Kumo.
We are currently seeking to hire a Brand Executive. The Brand Executive is an External Design Collaborator, who is the primary link between the organization and the external design partners. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless communication, timely project execution, quality control, and the protection of company intellectual property throughout the collaboration lifecycle, from initial contact to final project launch and IP protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for external designers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring NDAs are signed before sharing confidential information.
- Manage design projects by tracking deliverables, following up on timelines, and coordinating feedback between internal teams, the MD, and external partners.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather and verify accurate project information before sharing with external designers.
- Track invoices and payments for external partners and coordinate with the Legal team to initiate trademark and trade name registration upon project completion.
Requirements:
- Act as the main point of contact for external designers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring NDAs are signed before sharing confidential information.
- Experience: Proven experience in Brand management, project coordination, or a client-facing role, preferably within the creative, branding, or design industry.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex feedback clearly and professionally.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Legal Acumen: Familiarity with NDAs, basic contract terms, and intellectual
property/trademark processes is a significant advantage. - Collaboration: A proactive team player who can effectively coordinate across internal
departments and manage external relationships.
