Role Purpose

The Senior Director, Operations – Stills & ARTD for Great Britain is the strategic business leader responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth across the Stills and ARTD portfolio within one of the Europe Operating Unit’s most significant markets.

This role serves as a key driver of portfolio growth in maturing brands and emerging segments, translating Europe OU and GB growth strategy into integrated commercial plans that strengthen consumer relevance, customer value and execution excellence. Operating at the intersection of strategy, commercial execution, and system leadership, the Senior Director Senior Director partners closely with bottling partners and cross-functional stakeholders to craft longer-term ambitions, accelerate growth and optimise market performance.

As the lead interface for the Stills & ARTD business in Great Britain, this role drives disciplined performance management, enables best-in-class commercial execution, and ensures strategic priorities are effectively activated across channels, customers, and system partners. The position plays a critical role in advancing category competitiveness, strengthening system capabilities, and delivering business results that support both market and Europe OU objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Commercial Planning & Performance Management

  • Lead the end-to-end performance management agenda for the Great Britain Stills & ARTD portfolio, monitoring revenue, volume, transactions, market share, execution KPIs, and SOVI to ensure delivery of business objectives.
  • Translate Europe OU category strategies into market-relevant commercial plans with clear growth priorities, activation roadmaps, and execution standards.
  • Develop System Stills + ARTD portfolio long range plans to set a clear ambition, align a System commitment to growth and support System investment and acceleration initiatives
  • Drive annual and mid-year business planning processes, ensuring alignment between category ambitions, customer plans, and operational capabilities.
  • Lead scenario planning, forecasting, and risk management processes to identify opportunities, address performance gaps, and ensure year-end delivery commitments.
  • Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making and portfolio optimization.
  • Drive contingency planning to ensure delivery of financial and commercial objectives across the planning horizon.

System Leadership & Bottler Partnership

  • Act as the strategic business partner to bottling partners across Great Britain, ensuring alignment on category priorities, investment strategies, commercial objectives, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead integrated business planning routines with bottling partners, ensuring Stills & ARTD strategies are fully embedded across channel and customer plans.
  • Foster strong system collaboration through clear governance, performance reviews, and joint accountability for business outcomes.
  • Serve as the voice of the market, providing actionable insights, emerging trends, and performance feedback to Europe OU and franchise leadership teams.
  • Build strong partnerships that enable execution excellence and long-term category growth across the Coca-Cola system.

Commercial Execution & Channel Leadership

  • Ensure customer and channel strategies for Stills & ARTD are effectively translated into high-quality marketplace execution across all routes-to-market.
  • Partner closely with Customer & Commercial, Marketing, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Supply Chain, and bottling partner teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end commercial activation.
  • Monitor competitive dynamics, consumer trends, and market developments, identifying opportunities to accelerate category growth and strengthen market position.
  • Champion execution excellence by driving focus, accountability, and consistency across commercial routines and operational priorities.
  • Ensure category priorities and execution standards are effectively cascaded and embedded across customers, channels, and field teams.

Capability Building & Operational Excellence

  • Assess system commercial capabilities through established leadership and performance diagnostic frameworks, identifying opportunities to strengthen execution and business performance.
  • Lead the development and implementation of capability-building initiatives tailored to category maturity, customer segmentation, and market needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement across commercial processes, tools, scorecards, and operating routines to enhance effectiveness and execution discipline.
  • Promote best-practice sharing and capability transfer across the system to improve overall category performance and organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead the development of tools, training frameworks, and operating mechanisms that strengthen commercial capability and execution consistency.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination between bottling partner, KO Technical and KO Production Management to support effective forecasting, production planning and supply chain management, ensuring both current operational delivery and future business needs are met

Governance & System Alignment

  • Ensure effective governance and stewardship of the Stills & ARTD business, supporting the management of bottler agreements, business commitments, and relevant supply chain arrangements.
  • Maintain full alignment with Europe OU governance standards, commercial frameworks, compliance requirements, and reporting processes.
  • Establish clear performance accountability mechanisms and ensure consistent execution against strategic priorities across all stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure business decisions support long-term category growth, operational efficiency, and system value creation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics, or a related discipline. Master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
  • Significant experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG/FMCG), including senior commercial, customer, category, franchise, or general management leadership roles with business ownership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering sustainable growth and commercial performance in complex, multi-channel environments.
  • Experience partnering with bottlers, distributors, or strategic system partners, ideally within the beverage or broader food and drink industry.
  • Strong expertise in commercial planning, forecasting, category management, business performance management, and market execution.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders, driving alignment, and leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives within matrix organisations.
  • Experience working closely with Revenue Growth Management, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to deliver integrated commercial outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of the Great Britain marketplace, including channel dynamics, customer strategies, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and business results.
  • Strategic and enterprise mindset with the ability to balance long-term value creation and short-term performance delivery.
  • Strong system leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
