At PwC, our people in risk and compliance focus on maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks for clients, providing advice, and solutions. They help organisations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance their internal controls to mitigate risks effectively.As a risk management generalist at PwC, you will provide advisory and practical support to teams across a wide range of specialist risk and compliance areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Data Strategy
- Assess current data governance maturity and identify key gaps across governance, architecture, data quality, metadata and master data management
- Develop data governance implementation roadmap aligned with business priorities
- Design and implement enterprise data governance framework (policies, standards, controls, lifecycle)
- Design Data Governance Operating Model including roles & RACI (Data Owners, Stewards, Custodians, Data Product Owners); Embed governance into business processes and data workflows
- Develop Data Quality framework (rules, KPIs, monitoring, issue remediation)
- Define modern data architectures (Data Mesh / Data Fabric)
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in data management, data governance, data quality, metadata, master data, data architecture or data analytics consulting roles
- Experience/Familiar with DG tools like : Informatica DQ, Colibra, etc is a plus
- Having strong understanding of data model in banking/financial services
- Proven experience in data governance implementation or transformation initiatives
Certifications
- Preferred certifications: DCAM, DAMA CDMP, or equivalent data management certifications; AI / data analytics certifications are an advantage
- Strong PC skills: SAS,R, SQL query and database familiarity; MS Office applications, including advanced spreadsheet and VBA
