MasTec Power Delivery is seeking a driven and resourceful Talent Acquisition Sourcer to support our growing Major Projects Team. In this role, you will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to identify, engage, and build talent pipelines for critical positions supporting large-scale power delivery infrastructure projects across the United States.

 

The ideal candidate has experience sourcing talent within the electric utility, transmission, substation, renewable energy, or heavy civil construction industries and is passionate about connecting skilled professionals with impactful career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source and identify qualified candidates for technical, engineering, project management, and construction leadership roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, and other sourcing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening to evaluate qualifications, experience, interest, and cultural fit.
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring priorities, workforce planning, and project staffing timelines.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates in highly competitive markets.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Track sourcing metrics including pipeline health, response rates, and time-to-fill support.
• Represent MasTec Power Delivery professionally while delivering a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing process.
• Stay informed on market trends, industry talent availability, and competitive recruiting practices within the power delivery and construction sectors.

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience supporting construction, engineering, industrial, infrastructure, or utility organizations.
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other online sourcing platforms.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Preferred

• Experience recruiting or sourcing within:
• Electric utility construction
• High-voltage transmission
• Electrical substations
• Heavy civil construction
• EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) organizations
• Renewable energy infrastructure
• Familiarity with roles such as Project Managers, Construction Managers, Field Engineers, Estimators, Project Controls Analysts, Electrical Engineers, and Substation/Transmission Line Engineers
• Experience supporting high-volume or project-based hiring initiatives.
