Your Opportunity

Aligned to Urban Utilities’ corporate strategy and core operations, the People and External Relations group is a key enabling function in our business, responsible for driving performance and achievement of the organisation’s objectives through the delivery of effective engagement, partnerships and relationships with our people and key external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Manager, Organisation Enablement, the Organisation Change Lead is responsible for successfully developing and implementing Urban Utilities’ change framework and approach to support the successful delivery of various change programs. This will include improving change leadership and capability at all levels and making sure the framework is consistently applied across the organisation to enable sustained, embedded change.

What You’ll Deliver

  • Change Management Expertise: Coaching leaders in application of Change Management Framework, including strategies for influencing behaviour, addressing resistance and promoting stakeholder commitment using behavioural science principles.
  • Training and Adoption Support: Designing and delivering training programs to support organisational change and foster adoption of new practices.
  • Lead the Change Community of Practice, fostering collaboration, capability development and knowledge sharing to strengthen change management maturity.
  • Strategic Thinking and Execution: Proficient in linking change delivery interventions to business strategy, using data-driven models to analyse change contention and sequencing, and managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Organisational and Problem-Solving Skills: Time management, attention to detail, planning, execution, and stakeholder management to ensure successful change implementation.
  • Frameworks and Tools: Knowledgeable in change management frameworks like ADKAR and leveraging data to guide strategic change initiatives.

About You

If you’re passionate about what you do and feel that you have the capability to be successful in this role we would love to hear from you..  Ideally you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Communications, Human Resources and/or other relevant discipline/s.
  • Qualifications/accreditation in a contemporary change methodology, PROSCI (highly desired)
  • Proven experience in comprehensive change management including the development & execution of enterprise change management strategies, plans and learning programs.
  • Proven experience influencing stakeholders and building effective working relationships across diverse groups.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
