Description
Plant Care Technician - Cannabis Grow
Location: Pullman, WA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Pay: $18.13/hour

- Pruning, training, and tucking plants for healthy structure and yield
- Caring for plants through each growth phase - vegetative, flowering, and harvest
- Mixing and applying nutrient solutions and other inputs
- Keeping grow rooms and equipment clean and audit-ready
- Assisting with room setup and environmental control adjustments
- Supporting harvest days and post-harvest processing
- Contributing to R&D trials aimed at improving plant genetics and technique
- Pitching in wherever the cultivation team needs an extra hand
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older
- Education: High school diploma or GED required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Cultivation, horticulture, or agriculture experience is a bonus, not a requirement - we'll train motivated candidates who are eager to learn
- Able to stand or sit for up to 8-hour shifts
- Comfortable with repetitive hand tasks (pruning, trimming)
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Occasional crouching, climbing, or crawling
- Good color vision and visual acuity required
- Genuinely enjoy working with plants and don't mind getting dirty
- Can stay focused through repetitive, detail-oriented tasks
- Adjust easily when priorities shift
- Communicate well and work well with others
- Take pride in doing the job right, every time
- Comfortable with basic computer programs (Word, Excel, labeling tools)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to follow SOPs and manage competing priorities
- Open to feedback and always improving
- Real interest in cannabis cultivation practices
- Bright grow lights and warm, humid air
- Moderate background noise
- Occasional dust, vapor, or airborne particulates (PPE supplied)
- Use of ladders and work in confined spaces at times
- Some contact with cleaning products and fertilizers
