Description
Hungry for a challenge?
That’s good, because at SKIP we have abundant opportunity or, as we say, everything is on the table. We are a leading global online food delivery marketplace. Our tech ecosystem connects millions of active customers with hundreds of thousands of connected partners in countries across the globe.
Our mission? To empower every food moment around the world, whether it’s through customer service, coding or couriers.
About this role:
As a Product Designer at SKIP, you'll be part of a UX team looking after the apps and websites our customers and partners use for delivery of food, groceries and more!
You’ll work with an empowered cross-functional team that prioritises using research and data to help understand the problem space, before moving through the design process to deliver engaging and user-friendly solutions.
We want to discover what our users will love as soon as we can. We like to explore user problems in-depth and we like to speak with users regularly, to explore what we are working on and help us understand their needs.
You'll be part of a passionate UX team of 80+ UX designers, UI designers, product designers, service designers, researchers and writers across 7 countries.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
Focus on key user problems and come up with innovative solutions to those problems.
Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, user journeys, wireframes, visual design mock-ups and prototypes as needed to effectively conceptualise and communicate detailed interaction behaviours
Work across the entire product lifecycle from concept to delivery; creating documentation, wireframes, hi- & lo-fi prototypes and pixel perfect UI.
Collaborate with engineering & product management to build experiences and present your work to stakeholders
Collaborate on research alongside UX researchers, and conduct usability studies.
Collaborate and communicate with product management to build your design roadmap and manage timelines.
What will you bring to the table?
3-5 years of experience in a UX/UI design role.
Ability to execute on projects end-to-end from problem discovery, hi-fidelity designs, and developer handoff.
Experience working in agile/sprint-based environments.
Experience in regard to collaboration/projects with product, research and tech teams.
Ability to use AI tools to supplement existing design skills. You are able to discern good design practices versus AI-generated solutions.
Experience designing UIs for iOS, Android, and responsive web.
Experience working with and contributing to design systems and component libraries.
Experience with unmoderated user testing tools (Maze, usertesting.com)
High fidelity prototyping skills (Figma, etc.)
Comfortable presenting to larger audiences and senior stakeholders.
Experience with workshop facilitation and design sprints.
Ability to take ownership, creatively solve problems, and proactively contribute to the objectives of the business.
