What is the role?
We are seeking a Casual Academy Minibus Driver to transport the Academy Scholars, Schoolboys & staff to and from training, match venues and other destinations.
What will you be doing?
As a Casual Academy Driver, you will play a key role in supporting the Academy's transport operations by providing safe, reliable and professional transportation for Academy Scholars, Schoolboys and staff. You will collect and transport passengers from a variety of locations on an ad hoc basis, ensuring all journeys are conducted in full compliance with the Highway Code and all relevant passenger and minibus transport regulations.
You will work closely with the Academy Logistics Manager to ensure you are aware of any changes to daily or weekly schedules and can adapt accordingly to meet the needs of the Academy.
Health and safety will be at the heart of everything you do. You will be responsible for your own wellbeing, as well as the safety and welfare of all passengers in your care, ensuring journeys are completed safely and efficiently.
As the first point of contact during transport, you will also play an important role in safeguarding. You will be responsible for the safe collection and return of Academy players and be alert to any noticeable changes in behaviour or wellbeing. Any concerns, incidents or safeguarding issues must be reported promptly and appropriately to the Academy Safeguarding and Player Care teams in line with club policies and procedures.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Hold a clean and valid UK Driving Licence.
- PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) entitlement (D1 or D).
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Exceptional knowledge of the local area.
- A flexible approach.
- Good Organisational skills.
- Good level IT Skills (mobile apps are used regularly)
