Description
Within Yahoo Games, our mission is to make games a natural extension of the daily Yahoo experience—easy to discover, fun to play, and rewarding to return to. We are reimagining Yahoo Games as a modern casual gaming destination with a strong point of view on quality, craft, and player experience.
A Lot About You
We are seeking a talented Senior Visual Designer to create and deliver the visual assets that power discovery, marketing, and platform experiences across Yahoo Games. In this role, you will own the visual design and illustration work that lives outside the game itself - spanning promotional imagery, platform marketing, game website visuals, and supporting assets such as streaks, avatars, leaderboards, and more.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will create high-quality illustration and visual design assets, bring motion design sensibility to platform and marketing experiences, and collaborate closely with Product Design, Product Management, and the Lead Visual Designer to ensure a cohesive and compelling visual presence across the Yahoo Games ecosystem. You may also work alongside the Lead Visual Designer on more ambitious game titles, contributing assets such as icons, illustrations, and supporting visuals as needed.
If you are a strong illustrator and visual storyteller who understands how to make games and gaming experiences feel exciting and discoverable, this role is for you.
