As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. - Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors at a cultural institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries, exhibits, public areas, offices, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site rules, and help maintain an orderly environment for guests and personnel.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
