A Floor Technician at Verde Clean plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of various types of flooring surfaces professionally and efficiently. The Floor Technician at Verde Clean is responsible for performing specialized cleaning and maintenance tasks on a variety of flooring types, including carpets, wood, tiles, and more. - Floor Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning, maintenance, and restoration tasks on different types of floors, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, and waxing.
- Knowledge of Products and Equipment: Have in-depth knowledge of various eco-friendly cleaning products, equipment, and techniques used for different flooring materials.
- To follow and collaborate on floor cleaning procedures. Follow steps on how to clean, strip and maintain floors.
- Surface Preparation: Prepare floor surfaces before cleaning by removing obstacles, moving furniture when necessary, and protecting surrounding areas from cleaning agents.
- Stain and Debris Removal: Identify and effectively treat stains and debris on carpets and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot floor cleaning equipment, such as carpet cleaners, floor polishers, and steam cleaners.
- Eco-Friendly Practices: Adhere to Verde Clean' commitment to eco-friendly cleaning practices by using approved eco-friendly cleaning products and minimizing waste generation.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of tasks performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the cleaning process.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and providing information about the cleaning process, timelines, and expected results.
- Safety Measures: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and clients, including proper handling and storage of cleaning agents.
- Quality Control: Perform inspections after completing cleaning tasks to ensure the quality of work meets Verde Clean' standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in floor cleaning techniques and eco-friendly practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The following are the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position: must be detail-oriented and a team player.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Floor Technician.
- Basic knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques, such as buffers, scrubbers, and burnishers.
- Understanding of various flooring types (e.g., tile, vinyl, carpet, terrazzo and polished concrete) and appropriate cleaning methods.
- Familiarity with the safe handling of chemicals and cleaning supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
