Department: Engineering / Environmental Services
Reports To: Director of Engineering or Environmental Programs Manager
- Design, implement, and manage environmental engineering projects related to water, air quality, waste management, and site remediation.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
- Develop environmental management plans, sustainability initiatives, and pollution prevention strategies.
- Perform environmental monitoring, sampling, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Evaluate operational processes and recommend improvements to reduce environmental risks and enhance sustainability.
- Support environmental audits, inspections, and corrective action programs.
- Prepare permit applications and maintain environmental compliance documentation.
- Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of environmental engineering experience.
- Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Experience with environmental permitting, compliance reporting, and remediation projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and environmental data analysis software.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience working with government agencies, municipalities, industrial facilities, or consulting firms.
- Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, or environmental modeling software.
- Experience managing multiple projects and budgets.
