Description
Join a team led by three experienced Partners with advanced clinical expertise, offering a supportive environment and genuinely varied caseload across both first-opinion and hospital settings. This Veterinary Surgeon role is split between our Medivet Borehamwood practice and Medivet Watford 24 Hour Hospital, giving you the best of both worlds. For full-time applicants, this would typically include 2 days at each site and 1 in 6 weekends at Watford.
Watford is a well-equipped 24-hour hospital with CT imaging, endoscopy, and digital and dental X-ray, alongside access to MRI at our nearby Hendon site. Borehamwood has recently been rebranded and continues to build a loyal client base, offering a great balance of continuity and clinical variety.
A key highlight of this role is the support from three experienced Partners across the sites, including Advanced Practitioners in small animal orthopaedics and medicine (with a GP certificate in cardiology), and a Partner studying towards a PGCert in small animal surgery. This strong clinical leadership creates an excellent environment for vets of any skill set to develop and thrive.
This is a predominantly supported role with some sole charge, ideally suited to a Veterinary Surgeon confident with routine surgeries, dentals, and consultations. We also offer flexibility, with full-time and part-time applications (including ~30 hours) welcomed, alongside a shared bank holiday on-call rota.
If you’re looking for strong clinical support, excellent facilities, and genuine flexibility, this could be the perfect next step.
Your career means more than a rota and a job title, that’s why we offer:
