A family in Potrero Hill is seeking a nurturing and detail-oriented Nanny / Family Assistant to work alongside a stay-at-home mom in caring for their new baby (arrived mid-May) and helping with household tasks. Responsibilities include infant care, engaging in age-appropriate play and fostering baby's development, preparing and sanitizing bottles, laundry and meal prep/simple cooking for the family, running errands, and light tidying.

Their ideal candidate is collaborative, neat, organized, and has flexibility to help with occasional weekends and evenings with advance notice. Ultimately the best person for them is someone comfortable working with a stay-at-home parent, is collaborative, and seamlessly transition between childcare and household needs.

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in German (nice to have, not required)

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + staying current on the booster
• TB and Tdap vaccinated
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family provides household vehicle for work-related driving)
• Detail-oriented
• Tidy and organized
• Receives feedback well
• Collaborative and excellent communication
• Warm, loving, kind
• Experienced with infants
• Proactive
• Comfortable working alongside stay-at-home mom
• Can make at least a year commitment
