Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys helping patients navigate their healthcare journey? Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our busy Vascular Surgery practice. In this essential role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for patients and collaborate with multiple healthcare teams to ensure seamless scheduling and exceptional patient care.

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will:
- Schedule patient appointments, procedures, testing, and surgeries both in person and over the phone.
- Coordinate surgical procedures with physicians, hospitals, and specialty providers, including combined cases with Plastic Surgery.
- Work collaboratively with departments such as Nurse Navigation, Genetics, Oncology, Surgery Scheduling, Plastic Surgery, and Radiology.
- Ensure patient medical records are updated accurately and promptly.
- Communicate scheduling details clearly with patients, providers, and healthcare teams.
- Scan and upload patient records into OnBase.
- Obtain insurance authorizations for procedures and services.
- Perform additional administrative and clerical duties to support the practice.
What We’re Looking For
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of clerical experience in a physician office or healthcare setting.
- Experience with medical office software and scheduling applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
