Reporting into the Regional Business Director, the Regional Sales Manager will lead, drive, and empower the sales team across WA/SA/QLD to success. Your natural ability to connect and communicate will be essential to success in the role. You will maintain strong and ethical business relationships with customers to encourage usage of our products and achieve business targets for the ANZ region.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties maybe assigned:
Operational Excellence: Develop, implement, and continuously improve business and field processes to support sales growth, territory management, and customer engagement. Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Strategic Planning: Partner with senior leadership to develop strategic plans for field sales and business initiatives. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new growth opportunities.
Field Team Leadership: Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to field sales staff and work collaboratively with clinical and marketing teams and ensure sales teams are aligned for business common goals. Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture focused on accountability and results.
Sales Enablement: Collaborate with marketing and business operations to ensure field teams are equipped with the tools, training, and resources necessary for success. Support the rollout of sales programs, campaigns, and product launches.
Customer Relationship Management: Oversee the development and management of customer relationships, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and support. Resolve escalated customer issues and champion customer advocacy initiatives.
Business Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators, generate insightful reports, and provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and sales effectiveness.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure that field sales activities adhere to internal standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices. Lead audits and quality assessments as needed.
Tender & Contract Management: Contribute insights where required for the successful submission and preparation of tenders, proposals, and contracts in collaboration with legal, finance, and operation teams.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, customers, industry partners, and regulatory authorities.
Budget & Resource Management: Manage budgets for sales activities, optimize resource allocation, and drive cost efficiencies across the department.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in sales management, or sales within the medical technology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector.
Proven track record of driving sales excellence and achieving sales targets.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, generate insights, and implement solutions to complex problems.
Experience managing budgets, resources, and cross-functional projects.
Knowledge of compliance standards and regulatory requirements within the healthcare industry.
Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
