To lead our F&B team and support our Director of F&B, we are looking for you to join us as Assistant F&B Manager from the upcoming winter season.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing active support to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations across all outlets (restaurant, bar, room service, banqueting/events).
- Ensuring compliance with and continuously monitoring Kempinski brand standards, as well as HACCP and hygiene regulations.
- Being present for guests, handling feedback with confidence, and creating personalised, unforgettable guest experiences (Creating Remarkable Experiences).
- Induction, motivation and development of the F&B team, as well as helping to design training programmes.
- Assisting with rota and holiday planning, stock management and stock-taking, as well as supporting cost and revenue control (Cost Control).
- Contributing new ideas for events, menu presentations and seasonal promotions to increase guest satisfaction and revenue.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Completed training in the hospitality industry and several years’ experience in the upmarket hospitality sector, with at least two years’ management experience in a comparable role
- Professional expertise, creativity and attention to detail, as well as a very high standard of quality awareness
- A structured and organised approach to work, as well as a willingness to provide operational support
- A keen interest in team-oriented work
- Genuine enthusiasm for first-class cuisine, fine wines and first-class service.
- A dynamic leadership style characterised by empathetic communication, a hands-on approach and setting a good example.
- Ability to work under pressure, an understanding of business management and a confident demeanour even in hectic situations.
- Very good command of German and English; knowledge of other languages, such as Italian, would be an advantage
