The Opportunity
Great restaurants don't simply wait for guests to find them. They become part of the conversation.

We're looking for someone who understands how to build excitement, create connections, and turn a restaurant into the place people need to experience.
As the Food & Beverage Marketing Manager, you'll help shape how our restaurant is seen both inside the hotel and throughout the local community. You'll spend as much time understanding our guests, creating content, building relationships, and developing promotions as you will analyzing business trends and identifying new opportunities.

Food & Beverage Marketing Manager

Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage

This isn't a desk job, it’s building excitement every single day.

  • You'll be walking the restaurant with your camera.
  • Talking with guests.
  • Meeting local businesses.
  • Creating social content.
  • Hosting influencer events.
  • Monitoring online reviews.
  • Supporting activations.
  • Celebrating our team.

If you're energetic, creative, competitive, and passionate about hospitality, we'd love to meet you.

Who You Are

  • You're curious.
  • You notice what's trending before everyone else.
  • You know which restaurants are busy, and more importantly, why.
  • You enjoy creating experiences that people want to share.
  • You understand that successful restaurant marketing isn't about simply posting on social media.

It's about understanding who our customer is.

  • Knowing what motivates them.
  • Recognizing when business slows.
  • Developing creative ideas that fill the restaurant during those need periods.

You enjoy being around people.

  • You're comfortable introducing yourself to local business owners.
  • You aren't afraid to ask guests for feedback.
  • You love creating content.
  • You think like an entrepreneur.

Most importantly, you measure success by one simple question:

Did more people choose us today than yesterday?

Your Mission

Your mission is to make our restaurant a destination.

You'll help grow revenue by increasing awareness, driving local loyalty, improving guest engagement, strengthening our digital presence, and creating memorable experiences that keep guests coming back.

Every campaign.

Every event.

Every partnership.

Every social media post.

Every review response.

Every activation.

Every decision should answer one question:

Will this bring more guests through our doors?

What You'll Do

Know Your Market

  • Become the expert on our local customer, competitive landscape, neighborhood trends, and dining habits.
  • Understand who our guests are, what they value, and how we communicate with them.
  • Continuously identify business opportunities by meal period, day of week, season, weather, local events, and occupancy.
  • Develop marketing strategies that address slow periods while maximizing peak demand.

Build Demand Every Day

  • Create promotions, experiences, partnerships, and activations that generate measurable business.
  • Develop seasonal marketing calendars that keep the restaurant fresh and relevant.
  • Execute holiday programming, themed events, live entertainment, chef dinners, tastings, happy hours, and community events.
  • Support banquet, catering, private dining, and hotel initiatives whenever opportunities exist.

Own Our Social Presence

  • Create and publish engaging content across all social media platforms.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos throughout the operation.
  • Tell authentic stories about our food, cocktails, people, guests, and experiences.
  • Maintain an active posting schedule that reflects the energy of the restaurant.
  • Monitor engagement daily and build meaningful conversations with our audience.

Build Community Relationships

  • Become an ambassador for the restaurant throughout the community.

  • Develop relationships with nearby businesses, apartment communities, employers, tourism organizations, universities, sports venues, and community groups.
  • Coordinate influencer visits and local partnerships.
  • Create programs that turn first-time visitors into loyal regulars.

Drive Guest Capture

  • Develop strategies that encourage hotel guests to dine with us.
  • Work closely with Front Office, Sales, Catering, Revenue Management, and Operations to maximize in-house capture.
  • Ensure restaurant messaging is visible throughout the guest journey-from booking through checkout.

Own Our Online Reputation

  • Monitor Google, Yelp, OpenTable, TripAdvisor, and all major review platforms daily.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback.
  • Celebrate positive experiences while resolving concerns.
  • Identify trends and partner with operations to improve guest satisfaction.
  • Help increase both review volume and overall ratings.

Bring Ideas to Life

  • Assist with coordinating restaurant collateral, menus, signage, digital assets, promotional materials, photography, and creative projects.
  • Support agency partners while ensuring projects move quickly and accurately.
  • Keep marketing materials current, organized, and aligned with brand standards.

Measure Success

  • Track campaign performance and revenue impact.
  • Analyze engagement, guest traffic, promotions, social media growth, email marketing, website activity, and review trends.
  • Learn from results and continuously improve future initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

  • The restaurant becomes known as a destination within the local market.
  • Social media is active, engaging, and reflects the personality of the operation.
  • Hotel guest capture continues to grow.
  • Need periods become opportunities through creative marketing.
  • Local partnerships generate repeat business.
  • Online ratings and guest engagement consistently improve.
  • The restaurant is part of the community-not just another place to eat.
  • Food & Beverage revenue continues to grow because marketing creates measurable demand.

Experience & Capabilities

  • Restaurant, hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment, sports, or consumer marketing experience preferred.
  • Passion for restaurants, hospitality, food, beverage, and guest experiences.

  • Experience managing social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn
  • Familiarity with Google Business Profile, and social media scheduling tools.
  • Ability to create and edit content using mobile devices and content creation platforms.
  • Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including social media analytics, email marketing, audience targeting, and campaign performance measurement.
  • Experience monitoring and responding to online reviews through platforms such as Google, Yelp, OpenTable, TripAdvisor, and similar channels.
  • Comfortable learning new technology platforms, hospitality systems, and marketing tools as business needs evolve.

Physical Requirements
