Job Summary:
Pure Mobile Productions, a leading Mobile TV Broadcasting Production Company, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet Manager who will also serve as a Driver for our fleet. This dual-role position requires an individual with a strong understanding of logistics, scheduling, and fleet maintenance, as well as hands-on experience operating large vehicles. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing our fleet of over 10 broadcast trucks, managing driver schedules, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and providing on-the-road support as a driver when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Management: Oversee daily operations of Pure Mobile Productions’ fleet, including maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
Scheduling and Logistics: Create, coordinate, and manage schedules for drivers and trucks to support live event production needs across the US. Optimize routes for efficiency and timely arrival.
Driver Management: Recruit, train, and manage drivers, ensuring they adhere to company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations.
Inventory and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle service, repairs, and inspections. Ensure necessary documentation and certifications are current.
On-the-Road Support: Drive trucks to event sites as needed, providing backup driving support for events to ensure consistent and reliable service.
Compliance and Safety: Implement and uphold transportation policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct routine safety briefings for drivers.
Vendor Coordination: Work with third-party vendors for vehicle servicing and repairs, negotiating contracts and managing budgets to maintain fleet operations within budget.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in fleet management, logistics, or a related field, with experience in driving large trucks.
Licensing: Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage a team, make decisions under pressure, and prioritize tasks.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with fleet management software, GPS systems, and compliance standards (e.g., DOT regulations).
Physical Requirements: Ability to drive for extended periods, load and unload equipment as needed, and perform manual labor when required.
