Senior Site Manager

A bespoke residential developer is looking to recruit a Senior Site Manager to join a small inclusive team and lead the delivery of a new build residential development in Teesside, playing a vital part of the delivery of high quality homes.

The Role

• Take overall responsibility and project manage the day-to-day running of the site from groundworks to handover

• Manage subcontractors, trades and site operatives to ensure productivity and quality

• Ensure all works comply with current health & safety legislation, company procedures and site requirements.

• Monitor programme, progress and quality, taking action to address delays or issues.

• Coordinate materials, labour, plant and deliveries.

• Carry out regular site inspections and maintain high standards of workmanship.

• Maintain accurate site records, including site diaries, progress reports and health & safety documentation.

• Identify and resolve site issues promptly and effectively.

• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the required specification.

• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates on site performance.

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, Project Manager or Contracts Manager within new build housing is essential 

• Pride in Job or Seal of Excellence would be desirable 

• Strong knowledge of construction health & safety requirements.

• Excellent IT, organisation and communication skills.

• The ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.

• A strong understanding of construction programmes, quality control and site documentation.

• Understanding of the NHQC code and guidelines

• The confidence to communicate effectively within a small team

• Relevant Site Management qualifications, such as SMSTS, and a valid CSCS card, First Aid. 

Remuneration

£70,000 per annum, together with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to join a developer with a strong pipeline of work and genuine long-term career prospects.
