At Canyon Hills Friends Church, we believe that children's ministry is more than just childcare-it’s a mission field where young hearts are shaped, families are strengthened, and lives are transformed. We’re looking for a Children’s Pastor who is ready to lead with vision, creativity, and a heart for reaching kids and their families with the gospel.
What You’ll Do:
As our Children's Pastor, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead & Oversee our ministries for Nursery through 5th Grade, including Sunday programs, Wednesday night program, and our MOMCO ministry.
- Create Engaging Programs that help kids develop a love for Jesus through Orange Curriculum and a focus on worship, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, and service.
- Plan Exciting Events that reach our community, including our Easter Egg Hunt, VBS, and Fall Outreach.
- Build & Train an Incredible Volunteer Team by recruiting, equipping, and coaching leaders to serve in children’s ministry.
- Foster Discipleship by helping kids know Christ, grow in their faith, and share Jesus with others.
- Develop Outreach Strategies to welcome new families and connect unchurched kids to a life-changing relationship with Christ.
- Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment by overseeing classroom coordination, childcare staff, and safety protocol including on boarding protocols and background checks.
