Senior DevOps Engineer Consultant

Mission Overview:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, automating, and continuously improving cloud and platform infrastructures within a complex and highly regulated environment. You will support development and operational teams in achieving reliable, secure, and reproducible deployments, and actively contribute to the further professionalization of DevOps practices. This position is a consultancy mission at a client site representing Keystone Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and automate Azure infrastructures according to Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Support container platforms based on Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, and GitOps principles.
• Manage cloud networks, security components, access management, and certificates.
• Conduct analyses on existing infrastructure and resolve configuration discrepancies between code and operational environments.
• Implement and monitor solutions for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Actively contribute to the security of platforms and development processes in accordance with applicable security and compliance requirements.
• Support development teams with deployment, infrastructure, and cloud-related issues.
• Draft and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and standards.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, mentoring, and coaching of new employees and colleagues within the DevOps domain to ensure expertise is sustainably embedded within the organization.
• Actively identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the further automation, standardization, and maturity of DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute to incident analysis, problem resolution, and operational continuity of critical platforms.

Technical Requirements:

• Cloud & Platform: Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Storage.
• Infrastructure as Code: Extensive experience with Terraform, knowledge of state management, modularization, and version control of infrastructure code.
• Containers & Scripting: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, knowledge of Helm charts, and proficiency in YAML, JSON, and other configuration formats.
• DevOps & Automation: Experience with Git and GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD processes, as well as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation purposes.
• Monitoring & Security: Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana, along with experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting.
