Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Check In Driver in MIDLAND, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, support badge procedures, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping maintain an organized environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and visitor-management protocols.
• Greet employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify identification and credentials; issue visitor badges; and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems, reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Support a professional manufacturing location by directing visitors, answering calls, maintaining front-desk logs, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
